Haris Memisevic: Elevating Coaching Excellence at the FAW UEFA C Certificate Course

Haris Memisevic, the Boys Junior Division Director and ECNL Coach at Space Coast United, recently took part in a significant event that further solidified his role as a leading coach educator. With a UEFA B License under his belt, Haris attended the FAW UEFA C Certificate course in Miami from August 9th to 11th, not as a participant but as a UEFA Course Instructor.

Expanding Knowledge as a Coach Educator

For Haris, the opportunity to serve as an instructor at this prestigious event was a chance to deepen his understanding of coach education. “I attended the event to expand my knowledge as a coach educator,” he explained. His role involved guiding and supporting coaches through the certification process, ensuring that they not only met the standards but also gained a deeper appreciation for the art of player development.

Key Takeaways: Motivating Coaches for Continuous Growth

One of the most valuable lessons Haris brought back from the course was a new approach to coaching education—one that emphasizes motivation and continuous learning. “I learned how to approach coach education in a way that supports and motivates coaches to not only obtain a license but encourages them to further their understanding of player development,” Haris shared. This philosophy will undoubtedly enrich the coaching environment at Space Coast United, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Building Connections Off the Field

The course also offered Haris and his fellow educators the chance to connect with candidates outside of the classroom. “We were able to interact and build relationships with the candidates off the field,” Haris noted. This included exploring the vibrant city of Miami and enjoying meals together at some of the city’s popular restaurants. These interactions helped to create a sense of camaraderie and mutual support among the group, enhancing the overall learning experience.

Haris Memisevic’s participation as an instructor at the FAW UEFA C Certificate course is a testament to his dedication to elevating the standards of coaching at Space Coast United. His insights and experiences from this event will contribute to the club’s mission of developing well-rounded, knowledgeable coaches who are equipped to nurture the next generation of soccer talent.

Stay tuned for more updates as Haris continues to inspire and lead the coaching team at Space Coast United!
