Registration is mandatory for ALL PLAYERS – current or new Comp or Rec players, from SCUSC or outside the club. Registering for Tryouts signifies your family’s intent to play at SCUSC. Scroll down for FAQ.

SCUSC is committed to our existing membership and also welcomes any new players to the SCUSC family wishing to play soccer in a challenging and high-level environment. Our goal is to accommodate and uphold a fair tryout selection and evaluation process.

Directors and Head Coaches will place players on teams based on the level of the player’s ability within the club’s team structure that will allow the player to grow and be consistently evaluated throughout the year.

The team selection process will be made throughout the Tryout process.

FREQUENTLY  ASKED QUESTIONS
  • Is Tryouts registration required?

Yes, registration is mandatory for all players.

  • Do players need to attend both nights?

Yes. If you cannot make the second night let the coach know you will not be there.

  • Can I tryout for a higher age bracket (playing up)?

All players will try out at the appropriate age bracket. There may be individual cases when playing up is best for the development of the individual player. These cases will be addressed accordingly and, decisions will be made solely by the Coaching Directors of the division in which your child plays.

  • Will my child be given a fair tryout if he/she played outside of Space Coast United?

All players are given a fair tryout and will be placed on the team the staff feel appropriate. There are no guarantees given to Space Coast United players to remain on their previous team.

  • How will I know if I made the team?

The Coach and/or Director will contact your family within 5 days of the final day of tryouts.

  • Who do I contact with questions?

    For general questions email: tryouts@spacecoastsoccer.org

For questions for specific teams or age groups:

    Scotty Armstrong, doc@spacecoastsoccer.org

  • I missed Tryouts registration, now what?

If you missed Tryouts or are moving to the area and want to be considered for a spot on one of our Competitive Teams, please message Tryouts@Spacecoastsoccer.org. Include your player’s birth year and gender.

  • How do I know what age bracket to sign my child up?

This 2026-2027 season US, the  Club Soccer is changing the age brackets that players will be playing on, so some players who played on the same team in 2025-2026 season may not be on the same team for the 2026-2027 season. To check which age group to register for, click this link.

FEES

2026-27 Player Registration Fees Coming Soon

Club Registration and Training Fees include the expenses of rostering your child to the team’s soccer governing body, league entry fees, professional training, facility expenses, insurance, and other club-related costs.

Team Fees. Team fees are separate (not included in the registration fees collected by the club), collected at the team level, and split by the number of players. Team fees cover tournament registrations, coach travel expenses, needed supplies and other team expenses. Financial decisions are made for the year based on the support of all the players on the roster; team fees are due from each player whether an individual participates in every event or not.
