SCUSC is committed to our existing membership and also welcomes any new players to the SCUSC family wishing to play soccer in a challenging and high-level environment. Our goal is to accommodate and uphold a fair tryout selection and evaluation process.
Directors and Head Coaches will place players on teams based on the level of the player’s ability within the club’s team structure that will allow the player to grow and be consistently evaluated throughout the year.
The team selection process will be made throughout the Tryout process.

Registration
TRYOUTS have concluded. Additional evaluations are being considered. Contact doc@spacecoastsoccer.org if you are looking to join.
Registration is mandatory for ALL PLAYERS - current or new Comp or Rec players, from SCUSC or outside the club.
RETURNING PLAYERS or those with a TGS account
If the player is a current SCU Comp member or has a TGS account from another club:
- Click the registration button. Login to your existing Parent TGS account.
- Choose the child to register.
- Choose the Boys or Girls group.
- Select your Current Club (or Other). Click Next.
- Click the button to agree to terms and Submit Registration. You will receive a "high five" when complete.
- Click Close to return to this Tryouts page.
NEW PLAYERS without a TGS account
- Click the registration button. On the TGS screen click the blue button "Click Here to Create a New Account."
- Enter the required information including setting a password. (Please make note of the password for your next login.) NOTE: use your email for the account. Players 12 years and older must have a separate email for a player account.
- Click Next.
- Fill the player information. Players 13 and older need a separate email address.
- Choose the Boys or Girls group.
- Select your Current Club (or Other). Click Next.
- Click the button to agree to terms and Submit Registration. You will receive a "high five" when complete.
- Click Close to return to this Tryouts page.

Is Tryouts registration required?
Yes, registration is mandatory for all players.
Do players need to attend both nights?
Yes. If you cannot make the second night let the coach know you will not be there.
Do I need to fill out any forms?
Only NEW players to ECNL, RL or NPL Teams need to submit a US Club Registration/Medical Release Form.
You will have the option to upload this form during season registration. If you feel more comfortable handing it in you can bring it to Tryouts.
Can I tryout for a higher age bracket (playing up)?
All players will try out at the appropriate age bracket. There may be individual cases when playing up is best for the development of the individual player. These cases will be addressed accordingly and decisions will be made solely by the Coaching Directors of the division in which your child plays.
Will my child be given a fair tryout if he/she played outside of Space Coast United?
All players are given a fair tryout and will be placed on the team the staff feel appropriate. There are no guarantees given to Space Coast United players to remain on their previous team.
How will I know if I made the team?
The Coach and/or Director will contact your family within 5 days of the final day of tryouts.

I missed Tryouts registration, now what?
If you missed Tryouts or are moving to the area during the Summer and want to be considered for a spot on one of our Competitive Teams, please contact:

Forms will be filled through GotSport registration.
If you have paper forms filled, wait until your player is placed on the team and give them to the Team Manager.
Now is the time to apply for Financial Aid. Applications are due June 30. If your player is in the Brevard County Public Schools Free and Reduced Lunch Program, you are eligible to apply for assistance. Apply now even if you are unsure of your child's position on a team. See our Financial Assistance page for full details and an application.
2023-24 Competitive Registration Fees
Registration and Training Fees include the expenses of rostering your child to US Club or FYSA, league entry fees, professional training, facility expenses, insurance, and other club-related costs.
Team fees are separate (not included in the registration), collected at the team level, and split by the number of players. Team fees cover tournament registrations, coach travel expenses, needed supplies and other team expenses.
