Coach/Team Philosophy:
I believe that players gain confidence and a love for the game through positive feedback from parents, coaches, and other players. Skill level develops at different rates for players, but effort and having fun can always be achieved. I try to always provide positive feedback for effort.
Practices should be as fun and entertaining for the players as possible, while providing the practice and instruction that they need to improve.
I’ve found that players expect and respond to well structured and organized practices.
The players are expected to support each other and always be positive towards their teammates.
Other information:
Finally, competition is an important element of any sport and as players grow they naturally become more competitive. My role and that of the parents is helping the players develop the ability to deal with competition in a healthy way. Effort and attitude is my focus.
League Play: Brevard Youth Soccer League
Fall Schedule – August-Nov, 5 games at Viera Regional Park, 5 games across county
Spring Schedule – February-May, 4 games at Viera Regional Park, 4 games across county
Tournaments: (normally 2-3 game weekends)
