Gala Day

Space Coast United Soccer Club’s Soccer Gala Day will be taking place this Saturday, November 12 from 1pm until 4pm at Viera Regional Park on the Viera YDP Practice & Games (VRP 5) area.
GALA DAY ACTIVITIES
Gala Day will include:
A bounce house and inflatable slide
Soccer skills challengers with prize s, including Beat the Goalie, Soccer Tennis, and Trashcan Soccer
Free food and drinks (we recommend you arrive at the start if you would like the food and drinks, because they could go quickly!)
4v4 street soccer
Equipment donation table: donate used cleats, balls, and other equipment to help players in need
Giveaways from local companies, including Sports Authority and Tropical Smoothie
And more!

SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS
Fun In The Sun’ Program (4-5 years) is for the youngest players just beginning the game. Our focus is fun, exciting games to build confidence and teach the fundamentals of soccer. Within this curriculum players will cover ball familiarization, small group dynamics, coordination skills and social interaction, all with maximum participation in a fun oriented environment.
The Skills ‘n’ Thrills Program (6-10 Years) enhances player’s technical development & skill building in a stimulating environment. Players are challenged to consider basic tactical components at an age appropriate level, including attacking and defending principles.
Compete With Your Feet (11-18 Years) will place your child in challenging game related situations to enhance technical and tactical knowledge. To ensure a more rounded learning experience, players will cover sports and health lectures that address topics such as nutrition, flexibility, strength and fitness for soccer. Players will receive an individual evaluation highlighting specific strengths and areas for improvement.

- The players select a chip from a bag which indicates which field they play on and which team (RED OR WHITE)

- A group warm up will be completed with a skill of the week that we encourage the players to attempt within their games.
