This is registration for the Recreational/Youth Development Program (YDP) 2012 Spring season. Please take few moments to read the following before proceeding to the registration button at the bottom of this page

** ATTENTION RETURNING PLAYERS **

IF YOUR CHILD(REN) PLAYED IN THE FALL 2011 SEASON YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO REUSE AND NOT PURCHASE A NEW UNIFORM KIT (savings of $21.00 for U12 & up and $10.00 U10 and under).  HOWEVER MAKE SURE THAT BOTH RED & WHITE JERSEYS ARE AVAILABLE AND STILL FIT YOUR CHILD.

IF YOUR CHILD(REN) DID NOT PLAY IN THE FALL 2011 SEASON YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE A UNIFORM KIT FOR YOUR CHILD(REN).

****** REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS – PLEASE READ ******

* EXISTING REGISTRATION USERS *

If your child was registered in the Fall 2010, Spring 2011, or Fall 2011 season, please use the username and password you were provided in a club email.  If you did not receive the email, (check your spam folder) you may either request your username and password using the “Player Password Lookup” (click on register now button below) or email (Darcy Otranto or Jeff Etrick).

DO NOT RECREATE A NEW ACCOUNT AS THIS WILL RESULT IN A DUPLICATE PROFILE.

Family’s having more than one child who have not created a family account in the past, please follow the directions below for new users family account but use the username and passwords for each child included in each club email to merge into your newly formed family account. You will receive a $5 sibling discount for every additional child registered.

To Register: Once on the registration page: if your child played in the Fall 2010 or Spring 2011 season click on the “Registered User – Individual Users – Existing Account“. If you have not received your username/password from SCUSC then you may click on the “Player Password Lookup“. You will then be emailed the information. If you are having difficulty please contact the Rec. Registrar or the Webmaster.

NOTE: If your child(ren) played in the Fall 2011 season you have the option to re-use the uniform,  provided that your child still has both red & white jersey and that they both fit.

                                                                                     ***** BIRTH CERTIFICATES ******

 All children NEW to the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) and/or Space Coast United Soccer club must present an original or certified copy of the “State Certification of Live Birth” with affixed State Seal or certification (must be issued by the government/vital statistics).  Foreign birth certificates are acceptable if accompanied by a certified translation.  Passports are also acceptable forms proof of birth, must bring passport along with a photocopy.  If your child was born or lived outside the United States and is 12 + years old, you will be contacted to fill out additional paperwork.  Hospital, Baptismal or religious certificates WILL NOT be accepted.

NOTE: If you have registered your child after January 28th you will be contacted by the Rec. Registrar to arrange a date and time to submit your child’s birth certificates or passport.  You do not need to contact us in reference to this.

** SPECIAL REQUESTS **

Practices for the Youth Development Program (YDP) and the U12 & Up Recreational Programs will be held at either Wickham Soccer Fields or Viera Regional Park.  Requests for either location can be made FOR YDP;  however we CAN NOT guarantee placement.  This is in large part because of the growth of our club, making our first priority to have BALANCED teams. Therefore we CAN NOT guarantee requests for coaches or certain teams.  We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Players will be registered on first-come, first-serve basis, please do not delay registration!

** VOLUNTEERS **

Space Coast United Soccer Club requires that each family must volunteer a MINIMUM of two (2) hours of volunteer service per child to the club in some capacity each season. You will be contacted by our Volunteer Coordinator or receive periodic emails looking for volunteers for events.  Be sure to sign in when volunteering at an event.

Failure to perform your volunteer duty UPON REQUEST will result in a $50 non-volunteer penalty fee, which will be added to your child’s registration fee the following season.

** SCUSC is run solely by volunteers and without all of you, there would be no club for our children.  However if you are not able to volunteer you may pay a $25.00 per child “OPT OUT” volunteer waiver fee, payable at registration. **

** ATTENTION: ALL COACHES/ASSISTANT COACHES **

FYSA requires coaches and assistant coaches to complete the Florida Youth Soccer Association Risk Management Disclosure form online ONCE A YEAR (FALL) – (Coaches Registration/background check).

You WILL NOT be permitted to coach (be on the field with the players) if this is not completed.

New & Returning coaches/assistant coaches please click on the Request to Coach link below and complete the the form. Both Rec. and YDP Directors will make their selections from this list.  NOTE: Info submitted is not the background check, it is used to generate a background check email from Gotsoccer.com.

If you are selected to coach for the Spring, 2012 season and did not coach in the Fall, 2011 season you will receive an email from Gotsoccer.com with instructions on how to complete your Coach registration/background check.

Once completed, you will be required to log back into Gotsoccer.com the next day to retrieve your volunteer card. ** This card must be in your possession while on the field with your team. **

** REFUND POLICY **

1. 100% refund will be issued up until January 28, 2012 at 12PM
($5 processing/administrative fee will be deducted)

2. 50% refund of registration fees will be issued for requests received after January 28, 2012 and before team selection up until February 5, 2012

  1. 3.      0% refund for requests received after February 5, 2012 will not be issued as team rosters will have been finalized and submitted to BYSL (Brevard Youth Soccer League).

NOTE: Refunds/vouchers for another season  may be considered for special circumstances;  however the $5 processing/administration fee, FYSA and BYSL registration fees may be deducted from the refund, upon discretion of the Club Treasurer.

100% refund will be issued to players not placed on teams due to non-availability.
